Responsibilities
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to validate software functionality; execute test cases, identify bugs, and log defects with precision
- Organize and maintain testing schedules, track project developments, and ensure thorough documentation of testing artifacts such as test plans and results
- Assist in the deployment of software by conducting pre- and post-deployment checks and collaborating with development and operations teams to facilitate smooth transitions
- Communicate testing updates, issues, and outcomes clearly to team members and stakeholders
- Execute comparisons of software outputs against expected outcomes or previous versions to discover and report discrepancies
Description
We are seeking a Technical Software Specialist to join our team at DWS, located at 1 Commerce Way, Little Rock, AR. In this role, you will focus on enhancing batch reporting and processing while addressing challenges associated with transitioning to cloud-based environments. Our commitment to quality ensures that you will support both the Software Quality Assurance and UAT teams in delivering high-standard software products. We offer a collaborative work environment and are dedicated to implementing updated interfaces for our public users over a duration of 6 months.
