Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience without internships
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
- 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or related role
- 1+ years involved in developing large-scale, multi-tiered software applications, tools, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 1+ years of experience in Object Oriented Design
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Familiarity with AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles
- 1+ years of experience with Amazon or 2+ years in contact center environments
- Experience leading a team of software engineers in developing scalable software systems
- Strong expertise in at least one object-oriented language (preferably Java or Python) with a solid understanding of software design principles
- Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale software systems for high-traffic production workloads
Responsibilities
- Design and develop essential features of our AI-driven customer service platform
- Make critical architectural decisions to shape automated support systems
- Collaborate with teams to create scalable solutions enhancing customer service metrics
- Research and assess AWS AI services and features applicable to customer service
- Leverage Amazon Connects AI features to deliver intelligent customer solutions
- Develop proof of concepts to present AI-driven optimizations
- Collaborate with data science teams for effective model management
- Lead technical design and implementation of features from concept to production
- Conduct design reviews to align technical solutions with business goals
- Build robust and secure solutions utilizing AWS compute services
- Collaborate across teams to document and enhance architecture
- Monitor system performance and make improvements as needed
- Manage security compliance of AI systems with industry regulations
- Provide technical mentorship to team members through code reviews
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain system reliability
