Requirements
Must:
- Proven work experience in a cable assembly production operation preferred
- Familiarity with cable assembly tools and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused, and possess a high level of mechanical aptitude
- US Citizenship is required for work with the US Department of Defense
- At least 5 years of experience in a related role
- Understanding of AS9100 and ISO9000:2001 standards
- Experience with automation equipment is advantageous
- Knowledge of Military or Medical products/procedures is beneficial
- An Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred, with a minimum of a High School diploma
- Technical training in fiber optics is a plus
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Review and approve Contract Review Quality Clauses to confirm alignment with specified requirements
- Oversee document revision control, including work instructions, forms, and prints, and ensure ECO signoff
- Conduct First Article Review and Verification procedures
- Ensure all items in the Part List are outlined according to engineering specifications and procurement needs
- Check that all records of purchased items in the Part List have adequate information for seamless procurement in accordance with engineering requirements
- Educate users on the processes and procedures for accessing the Part List
- Assist engineering during the quoting phase to clarify document needs during the release process
- Regularly report RMA status across all departments
- Examine Bills of Material before release to confirm all items are accurately documented
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of production control concepts and practices to ensure documents are processed correctly for manufacturing support
