Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a cable assembly production environment
- Solid understanding of cable assembly tools and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail, driven by quality metrics, with high mechanical aptitude
- Must be a US citizen due to Department of Defense requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9000:2001 standards
- Familiarity with automation equipment is advantageous
- Exposure to Military or Medical products and procedures is a plus
- Preferred educational qualifications include an Associates or Bachelors degree; minimum of a high school diploma required
- Technical training in fiber optics is a plus
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities
- Review and approve Contract Review Quality Clauses to ensure they align with the quoted requirements
- Evaluate the revision control of documents including work instructions, forms, and prints, along with ECO signoff
- Conduct First Article Review and Verification
- Ensure all components in the Part List are clearly defined according to engineering specifications and procurement needs
- Confirm that all records of purchased items in the Part List contain adequate information for consistent procurement to meet engineering criteria
- Provide training to users on the processes and procedures for accessing the Part List
- Assist the engineering team during the quoting process to identify necessary document requirements throughout the release process
- Report the status of RMAs periodically across all relevant areas
- Review Bills of Material prior to release to verify that all items are properly documented
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of production control concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure correct document processing in support of manufacturing

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and reporting on product design compliance with regulatory standards in the Aerospace/Defense industries.
