Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in application development
- Proficiency in Micro Services & Layered (SOA/MVC) Architecture, both on-prem and on cloud (AWS)
- Extensive knowledge of Java (Core & EE), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, JMS, and Tomcat
- Experience deploying scalable solutions in Kubernetes or Docker containers
- Familiarity with UI/UX frameworks such as Angular or equivalent
- Strong understanding of SCM, DevOps, and CI/CD tools and processes (GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Sonar)
- Solid experience with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, REST, SOAP)
- Proficient in testing tools and frameworks (Jasmine/Karma, JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, Mockito)
- Knowledge of integration patterns and messaging technologies (MQ, Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Extensive experience with ORACLE PLSQL, SQL, and performance optimization techniques
- Strong analytical skills with creative problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and directions
- A passion for continuous improvement in all areas of work
Responsibilities
- Develop applications that meet both functional and non-functional requirements
- Create unit test cases to ensure compliance with the specified requirements
- Adhere to design and coding standards while participating in discussions for continuous improvement
- Generate and maintain comprehensive system documentation
- Integrate risk and control processes into daily operations to monitor and alleviate risk, escalating issues as necessary
- Contribute to the design and development of components or individual programs
- Provide production support for applications as needed
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to review technical designs and specifications
- Apply appropriate software development methodologies based on project requirements
- Partner with colleagues to enhance working methods and implement continuous integration and delivery practices
