Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role with a solid foundation in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Proficient in SQL programming, with practical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
- Familiar with programming languages like R and Python for advanced data analytics.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, Agile methodologies, and project management practices.
- Strong grasp of database design concepts, business analysis methods, and data modeling.
- Experience with VBA scripting for automation processes in Excel is advantageous.
- Capable of interpreting complex data sets and converting findings into practical insights.
- Exceptional communication skills that enable effective collaboration across teams.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities and keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements through discussions with stakeholders, workshops, and in-depth analyses.
- Create data models, dashboards, and reports utilizing tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Excel VBA to display essential metrics.
- Perform in-depth data analysis using SQL, R, Python, and Oracle databases to pinpoint trends and insights.
- Support project management functions within Agile frameworks, ensuring prompt delivery of solutions in line with SDLC best practices.
- Design and refine database structures, including management and design using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Develop process flow diagrams and documentation with Visio to assist in system development and enhancements.
- Work closely with technical teams on system integration, data migration, and automation tasks involving Bash (Unix shell) scripting.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to maintain project alignment and clarity.
- Aid in crafting analytical models to bolster business strategies and operational enhancements.
