Requirements
Must:
- Must hold and maintain a National Instruments Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) or Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) certification.
- Proficient in communicating with test equipment and sensors using data communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Network Streams, Serial, HTTP, and WebDAV.
- Experienced with code repository tools like GitHub.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at working both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving skills with minimal oversight.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Skilled in reviewing and documenting existing code, even with limited documentation.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying tasks and shifting priorities.
- Capable of interacting courteously and professionally with diverse individuals.
- 10 years of relevant experience in LabVIEW programming within real-time data collection systems.
- BS/BA in Computer Science or a STEM field, plus 10 years of experience, OR MS/MA in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for programming National Instruments data collection devices using LabVIEW and LabVIEW RT.
- Assist in the development of real-time data processing, analysis, and display programs.
- Facilitate the creation of programs for data storage, transfer, and query.
- Support the development, evaluation, testing, improvement, and maintenance of instrumentation software under managerial direction.
- Generate documentation for Instrumentation software, including technical documents and Users Guides.
- Manage special projects as needed.
