Senior Backend Engineer / WMS Architect - SaaS

Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js (preferably NestJS)
- Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL (including indexing and performance tuning)
- Experience in building inventory, warehouse, ERP, OMS, or logistics systems
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture (such as RabbitMQ or Kafka)
- Experience in developing role-based access control systems
- Knowledge of scalable cloud architecture (AWS preferred)
- Strong grasp of transactional systems and data integrity
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and construction of a scalable WMS platform from the ground up
- Create multi-tenant, SaaS-ready database structures
- Implement systems for event-driven inventory transactions
- Design the logic for picking, packing, bin locations, and inventory movements
- Establish strong audit logging and role-based access controls
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to translate actual warehouse processes into scalable software solutions
- Set coding standards, testing methodologies, and documentation practices
- Mentor and review the work of developers executing the implementation
