Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in public administration, political science, data science, business, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in process analysis, operations, or technical support
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) is advantageous
- Experience in a government or public sector environment is preferred
- Knowledge of Nevada election laws and procedures is preferred
- Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification is a plus
- Familiarity with election systems, voter registration databases, or government compliance frameworks is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, document, and enhance election systems processes to maintain integrity, efficiency, and compliance
- Support the Elections Division with the improvement of statewide voter registration and election management systems
- Collaborate with State and County-level users to optimize the use of election systems
- Facilitate process improvements and implement best practices in election-related activities
- Ensure meticulous documentation of processes and system functionalities
Description
We are seeking a Process Analyst consultant to join our team in Carson City, NV, on a hybrid work basis (local candidates only). This position offers a pay rate of $70 per hour under a 1099 contract, lasting from May 2026 to June 2027. As a vital member of our Elections Division, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our election systems processes, contributing to the integrity and efficiency of our operations.
