Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a SaaS and/or PaaS environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with distributed systems and design patterns is advantageous
- Proficiency in JavaScript programming for both client and server-side (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery UI, etc.)
- Knowledge of industry-standard technologies such as ESB and Web API
- Experience with web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, e.g., MEAN stack)
- Expertise in configuring client-side development environments, build tools, and conducting tests using modern programming concepts (e.g., AMD, TDD, CI, Grunt, Git, SASS)
- Familiarity with responsive web design using CSS3 features and frameworks (considered a plus)
- Experience in developing large-scale rich UI applications on the .NET platform (WPF or .NET MVC) (considered a plus)
- Advanced knowledge of the .NET 4.0/4.5 framework with hands-on experience in WPF & WCF (considered a plus)
- Demonstrated expert level software development experience with .NET C#, Web Services (considered a plus)
- Proficient in both SQL and NoSQL database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) (considered a plus)
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical contributor in the development and maintenance of an Investing Desktop Platform
- Execute technical and functional analysis of moderately complex projects
- Develop proofs of concept and applications of advanced complexity
- Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and training to team members
- Offer 24/7 on-call support on a weekly rotating schedule for production applications
- Conduct unit and integration testing
- Oversee all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment of functionality
