Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in backend engineering with Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
- Extensive knowledge of event-driven architectures and real-time data processing technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or webhooks
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and messaging infrastructure
- Experience with LLMs or AI-integrated setups is a plus
- Security-oriented mindset with experience in HIPAA or other regulated fields is advantageous
- Proven ability to thrive in high-speed environments, preferably from YC startups, FAANG, or other rapid-growth companies
- Evidence of technical excellence through open-source contributions, rapid career advancement, or notable achievements in mathematics/computer science (e.g., Olympiad, prestigious universities)

Responsibilities
- Design and implement an event-driven backend architecture using Node.js, Supabase (Postgres), and AWS
- Create real-time workflows for patients and providers driven by AI, including dynamic scheduling and automation
- Develop event pipelines for processing structured operational data, such as call transcripts and related metadata
- Ensure system availability, security, and compliance with HIPAA regulations in a high-throughput environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI and frontend developers to create a seamless healthcare experience
