Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in software development with languages such as Java, C++, Python, C#, and Ruby on Rails.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including Linux servers and network security protocols like RBAC.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for application deployment.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks including React Express and RESTful API principles.
- Proficiency in version control systems like GitHub, Git, or SVN for collaborative efforts.
- Experience in Agile methodologies for efficient iterative improvements.
- Ability to optimize database queries using MySQL and other SQL databases; experience with SQL tuning is advantageous.
- Understanding of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for creating engaging user interfaces.
- Awareness of application security standards and best practices in cloud environments is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills along with a proactive approach to learning new technologies, including quantum engineering and automation scripting.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable software applications using programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, C#, and Ruby on Rails.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and services to ensure seamless inter-system communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for web development.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems by resolving issues, improving performance, and adding new features.
- Utilize version control tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to effectively manage codebases within Agile practices.
- Deploy applications on cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure, while ensuring availability and compliance with security standards.
- Engage in front-end development using React Express, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to craft intuitive user interfaces.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and participate in CI/CD pipelines to uphold quality standards.
- Assist with database management tasks related to MySQL, SQL Server, or other SQL-based systems; focus on optimizing performance of queries.
- Contribute to quantum engineering efforts by integrating advanced computational techniques where relevant.
