Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of experience in data management systems, with at least 5 years focusing on Oracle database and data warehousing technologies
- 5+ years in consulting or senior leadership roles
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- 5 years of practical experience with Oracle ETL tools
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development, proficient in PL/SQL
- Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Data Warehousing, including at least 2 years experience in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse in an OCI environment
- Proven ability to design and implement Oracle data warehouse solutions following industry best practices
- Experience in conducting data management practice assessments and writing architecture documentation
- Expertise in data backup, recovery, and disaster planning
- Strong executive presentation and communication skills
- At least 2 years working with Star, Snowflake, and/or Hybrid schemas
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute intricate Oracle implementations for public sector clients
- Oversee and mentor teams of data professionals to ensure high-quality outputs
- Provide strategic consulting on best practices in data management and governance
- Enhance client satisfaction through clear communication and effective solution delivery
- Identify and suggest process improvements, automation opportunities, and emerging technologies
- Engage with client executives to facilitate value-driven solution discussions
- Contribute to business development efforts and proposal formulation
- Exhibit thought leadership in data management and team integration
- Develop Requirements Specifications
- Create Design Specifications
- Perform data analysis and predictive modeling
- Educate and mentor team members on best practices and industry standards
Description
We are looking for an Oracle Technical Lead based within 90 miles of Sacramento for a hybrid role, requiring in-office attendance two days a week at our Sacramento client location. In this position, you will drive the vision of our Enterprise Data Warehouse initiative, taking on team leadership responsibilities and delivering Oracle technical solutions.
