Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Python Developer focusing on web application development
- Strong proficiency with FastAPI or similar modern Python frameworks
- Hands-on experience with vector embeddings and semantic search technologies
- Required experience with pgvector/PostgreSQL for vector storage and queries
- Deep understanding of Large Language Models and system architecture around them
- Experience in designing RAG pipelines or similar AI frameworks
- Solid grasp of data structures, performance optimization, and system architecture
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and complex integrations
- Comprehensive knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or React Native
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Competence in Git and version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team
- **AI / Advanced Skills (Highly Preferred)**
- Experience with embedding models and tuning vector similarity searches
- Expertise in optimizing prompt engineering, context windows, and retrieval methodologies
- Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Experience in constructing AI agents or complex reasoning systems
- Understanding of token efficiency, latency optimization, and cost management in AI
- Experience with fine-tuning or customizing models (bonus)
- **Nice to Have**
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps methodologies
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization tools
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, or Shopify API
- Knowledge of cPanel administration
- Familiarity with Google APIs
- Experience with Expo for React Native development
- Understanding of state management frameworks (Redux, Zustand)
- Knowledge of hydration and contemporary rendering techniques
- PHP experience (especially beneficial for maintaining legacy systems)
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Python-based web applications, preferably using FastAPI, as well as mobile apps
- Design and build AI systems that extend beyond simple API calls, incorporating custom logic, orchestration, and optimization techniques
- Implement vector embedding pipelines and semantic search capabilities
- Utilize pgvector with PostgreSQL for effective embedding storage and querying
- Construct and enhance retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows
- Integrate and expand AI and LLM systems with tailored backend logic
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers to create AI-enhanced user experiences
- Optimize the performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of AI systems
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across different environments
- Adhere to security protocols and best practices throughout all development tasks
