Must:
We are looking for a Ph.D. in AI or equivalent research experience. You should possess proficiency in Python and PyTorch for data processing, model training, and inference. Expertise in Vision-Language Models and image/video retrieval is essential, along with a deep understanding of critical computer vision techniques for classification, retrieval, 3D modeling, and image/video generation. Experience with frameworks for large-scale multi-GPU training (e.g., PyTorch Lightning, Nemo) and large-scale inference (TensorRT, vLLM) would be a bonus. Additionally, we expect you to have over two years of experience as a technical lead or manager of science/engineering teams, demonstrating your ability to coach and enable team members to produce high-quality work. A detail-oriented mindset is crucial, as is the ability to clearly communicate complex issues to both technical and non-technical teams.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop and lead a high-performing team of applied researchers and machine learning engineers, fostering a collaborative environment centered on accountability and skill development. You will own the creation, management, and enhancement of multimodal solutions utilized across the company’s AI initiatives. Your responsibilities will include designing structured processes for data acquisition, model training, and inference, as well as establishing high standards for model quality through both offline and online evaluations. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to align AI solutions with business objectives, creating work plans that reflect team priorities while remaining adaptable to changing needs. You will also define key performance metrics for AI models and maintain operational excellence standards for data pipelines and models in production.
