Requirements

Must:
- I have 8+ years of professional experience in native mobile development. - I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - I possess mastery of advanced Kotlin language features and Android APIs. - I have experience authoring shared libraries for both internal and external distribution. - I am skilled in advanced debugging using emulator, adb, and LLDB. - I have experience with Android CI/CD processes. - It is preferable that I have experience proposing and influencing technical strategy and roadmaps, balancing both short-term and long-term objectives. - I am capable of designing and building scalable, distributed, and highly available systems, ensuring a high-performance and responsive website that is accessible. - I have taken a lead role in delivering complex software systems and hold strong opinions on how backend systems should function and integrate seamlessly. - I have solid knowledge in end-to-end system design from frontend to backend, involving JavaScript frameworks, GraphQL/REST APIs, Messaging Systems, RDBMS/NoSQL, Containers, and Infrastructure layers, with deep understanding of several key components. Familiarity with GraphQL is preferable. - I am proficient in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with deep expertise in one or two specific languages/frameworks. - I have developed and driven the adoption of technical practices that enhance team productivity in delivering high-quality code. - I have experience with AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency. - I possess excellent decision-making capabilities and thrive in navigating ambiguities and changes. - I have a strong sense of ownership and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and with multiple division stakeholders. - I genuinely care about the growth of others and excel in mentoring and coaching, fostering a positive impact on organizational culture.

Responsibilities

- I translate requirements into software design while creating clean, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code. - I oversee a large functional area, bringing in-depth knowledge and expertise. - I act as an influencer within domain teams, guiding others towards optimal technical decisions. - I enhance team productivity by identifying and promoting opportunities for improvements. - I identify change-prone areas within the team applications, incorporating flexibility into designs to boost engineering velocity. - I collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to develop innovative solutions aligned with development goals and principles. - I manage project features, breaking them into sub-tasks and resolving issues for efficient execution. - I provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews for both my immediate team and other teams, contribute to and review ADRs (Architecture Decision Records), and offer coaching and mentorship to team members both within and outside my team. - I identify gaps and issues across systems and functional areas, propose solutions, build the engineering roadmap, and drive their resolution. - I participate in knowledge sharing sessions, both internally and externally. - I cultivate transferable skills and maintain a growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities to learn.
