- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6–8 years of working in software engineering roles.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of successful collaboration with geographically dispersed teams.
- A passion for developing high-quality, scalable software that has a significant impact on customers.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and distributed systems that are scalable, reliable, and consistent with eBay’s architectural standards.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code in Java/Kotlin and Python.
- Apply modular design concepts to ensure a clear separation of concerns among service boundaries.
- Support the integration, deployment, and optimization of AI/ML models to enhance product functionality and system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—comprising ML, data, product, and other engineering groups—to deliver high-quality solutions for eBay’s marketplace.
- Utilize AI-driven tools and modern engineering practices to expedite development and improve productivity.
- Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall design of backend and applied AI/ML systems.
