Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience delivering technical support in a help desk or desktop support setting.
- Strong proficiency with Windows operating systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office is crucial.
- Understanding of IT ticketing systems and support tools for issue tracking.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical users, paired with strong customer service abilities.
- Robust analytical skills to efficiently diagnose issues and implement prompt solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or T-SQL is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for our global clients in resolving technical challenges and fulfilling business needs.
- Provide responsive technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote assistance tools concerning software installations and usability.
- Troubleshoot and rectify software issues linked to the Windows operating system, virtual desktop environments, and integrated applications like Microsoft Office.
- Schedule software updates for clients, execute new installations, and oversee database server migrations.
- Investigate and troubleshoot software errors and functional challenges to aid resolution alongside our engineering team and follow up with clients effectively.
- Document support inquiries using our FreshDesk ticketing system to monitor issues from start to finish, collaborating with other IT teams and clients as necessary.
- Create technical and usability documentation to assist end-users and streamline future troubleshooting processes.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for software fixes and enhancements prior to release.
- Utilize T-SQL to assist with client data requests and execute data corrections as required.
