National Field System Engineer

- Provide timely and professional responses to customer service requests within the designated territory and nationally as required. - Conduct installations, preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, field actions, and equipment removals with sound technical and business judgment. - Troubleshoot and repair instruments utilizing electro-mechanical and computer skills, down to the board or subassembly level. - Foster strong customer relationships and identify potential service or sales opportunities. - Organize and manage a proactive service itinerary in collaboration with dispatchers and regional leadership. - Collaborate with regional teams to support customers outside of the assigned territory. - Liaise with customers requiring purchase orders to schedule preventive maintenance and meet revenue goals. - Travel frequently, both scheduled and unscheduled, to address customer needs, including overnight trips for support, training, workshops, and specialized services. - Accurately and promptly complete service documentation, quality checklists, training requirements, calendars, and expense reports. - Comply with all guidelines for the maintenance of company-issued equipment, tools, fleet vehicles, and assets while representing bioMerieux professionally at all times. - Manage accurate spare parts inventory and meet annual targets such as First Time Fix rates and other performance objectives. - Continuously improve technical, procedural, and professional skills. - Assist sales, applications, marketing, and customer service teams to enhance customer experience and support organizational objectives. - Participate in trade shows and relay product performance feedback to internal teams. - Ensure all work complies with company quality procedures and standards. - Perform other duties as assigned.
