Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in biological science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, including:
- Direct customer service exposure
- Clinical laboratory background in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and/or Immunoassays
- Familiarity with bioMérieux products and Salesforce is an advantage.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail with multitasking abilities.
- Encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Proven track record in coordinating technical investigations.
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects.
- Knowledge of PDP process, G2M, GOM, CHP, Field deployment, and post-launch service stabilization.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical support requests and customer complaints from subsidiaries and distributors, ensuring effective resolution.
- Advocate for proactive troubleshooting and provide technical coaching to local and regional support teams.
- Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives informed by trend analysis.
- Coordinate comprehensive technical investigations with Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality teams.
- Participate in the Field Action process, including audit preparation and addressing technical complaints.
- Achieve and maintain ERP certification, meeting quality standards and departmental KPIs.
- Aid in service launches and support activities.
- Collaborate with peers on service deliverables and project tasks during product development and launch processes.
- Align service strategies with Marketing, Training, and Global Operations teams.
- Contribute to G2M strategy and manage transitions to obsolescence phases.
- Represent the technical field perspective to influence decisions regarding product market actions.
- Engage in other Franchise projects and initiatives as necessary.
- Support hypercare efforts to stabilize product launches and optimize performance.
- Participate in phase-out processes and monitor associated KPIs.
Description
We are seeking a Global Clinical System Engineer II to take ownership of our products from launch through to obsolescence and contribute to global serviceability. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective complaint handling, providing technical support, and fostering alignment across various functions. By collaborating closely with R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, we focus on defining service strategies, enhancing operational excellence, and achieving business growth while ensuring a positive customer experience. Based in Missouri, we offer a competitive salary range of $72,000 to $97,000 per year along with a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, and various employee support programs.
