Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Over 5 years of experience with Power BI development, creating complex, production-ready reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, focusing on data pipelines, dataflows, lakehouse, and/or data warehouse implementations.
- At least 3 years of experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities essential for translating data into insightful visualizations.
- Demonstrated team collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with various organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and time management skills.
*Additional Desired Skills:*
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics F&O ERP.
- Familiarity with Information Systems in a multi-divisional manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Proficiency in Source Control, specifically GIT.
- Experience with Python.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models to facilitate enterprise analytics and decision-making.
- Interpret complex business requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable, and user-friendly reporting and analytical solutions.
- Develop and refine SQL-based data models, queries, views, and stored procedures to handle analytics workloads.
- Construct and oversee data pipelines and transformations utilizing Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouse and/or data warehouse components.
- Implement and manage analytics solutions using a medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) to guarantee data quality, reusability, and performance.
- Enhance and standardize existing datasets, Power BI reports, and dashboards as data and reporting needs change.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to incorporate data from ERP and other systems into analytics platforms.
- Ensure the accuracy, performance, and reliability of data through diligent validation, monitoring, and optimization.
- Establish and adhere to best practices for Power BI development, data modeling, and deployment.
- Work cross-functionally to standardize data definitions, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting solutions.
