Must:
We require a seasoned IT professional with a robust background in IT support and system administration. The ideal candidate should have: - Proven experience in a senior IT support role or similar position, with substantial expertise in computer networking and system administration. - Extensive knowledge of operating systems, specifically Windows, macOS, and Linux, along with experience in software troubleshooting and hardware support. - Hands-on experience in managing VPN setups and remote access solutions. - Proficiency in using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy for effective ticketing and workflow management. - A strong grasp of network security principles, including firewall configuration and LAN management. - Familiarity with help desk operations and a focus on excellence in customer service within technical environments. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will: - Provide high-level technical support for both desktop and server hardware, as well as operating systems and software applications including Microsoft Office. - Manage and troubleshoot network components such as LAN, firewall configurations, and VPN connections to ensure secure and trustworthy connectivity. - Support and maintain our computer networking infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points. - Utilize ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy to efficiently log, track, and resolve service requests. - Assist users with software troubleshooting, operating system challenges, and hardware issues through help desk support channels. - Configure and uphold security measures like firewalls to safeguard our organizational data. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute system upgrades, patches, and the deployment of new technologies. - Document technical procedures and provide training or guidance to end users on best practices for IT utilization. - Stay informed about current industry trends related to IT support tools, including operating systems, LAN management, and cybersecurity protocols.
