Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of SAP MDG (and/or SAP MDM) with practical hands-on implementation experience
- Proficient in configuring deployment options (classic and cloud-ready)
- Skilled in data models and governance frameworks
- Experienced in key/value mapping techniques
- Familiar with workflows and rule-based approval processes
- Strong practical experience in data harmonization across various systems
- In-depth understanding of MDM-related business challenges and ability to devise functional solutions
- Proven track record in integrating with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party applications
Responsibilities
- Implement SAP MDG in both classic and cloud-ready environments
- Lead initiatives for data harmonization, including duplication removal, consolidation, and alignment across global systems
- Establish and manage key and value mapping for uniform data interpretation among systems
- Configure and oversee workflows for master data creation, approval processes, and change management
- Manage the integration of MDG with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems using DRF, SOA, REST APIs, and other integration methods
- Work closely with business stakeholders to diagnose MDM-related issues and offer functional resolutions
- Oversee comprehensive MDG implementations, including data modeling, UI configuration, business rule establishment, and replication frameworks
- Create functional specifications, user documentation, and support training and activities post-go-live
