Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Hadoop and related technologies
- Expertise in managing Hadoop and Data Science platforms, particularly Cloudera Hadoop
- Proficient in Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Impala, HBase, and Docker
- Strong knowledge of Hadoop architecture and HDFS
- Familiarity with AD/Kerberos authentication methods
- Experience with cluster management and configuration optimizations
- Ability to debug YARN issues effectively
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with clients and development teams
Responsibilities
- Engage in complex tasks supporting multiple projects requiring diverse expertise
- Provide subject matter expertise in managing Hadoop and Data Science platform operations
- Integrate solutions with external applications and platforms
- Oversee platform operations across various environments, including upgrades and bug fixes
- Manage deployments, monitoring, disaster recovery, and capacity management
- Act as a liaison between client partners and vendors, coordinating with project managers to provide technical solutions
- Collaborate in agile development processes throughout the application lifecycle
