Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Appian UI Developer
- Proficiency in developing, configuring, debugging, unit testing, and documenting applications
- Experience with end-to-end Appian BPM or UI implementation (Design/Develop/Deploy/Package)
- Strong understanding of Appian components including SAIL code, BPM fundamentals, and architecture features
- Familiarity with Appian Objects such as Records, Sites, Actions, Security, and Integration
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis
- Knowledge of database design and experience collaborating with database developers and quality assurance teams
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with various teams
- Experience using CI/CD Pipeline for Appian development
- Appian certification is a significant advantage
- Prior experience with financial institutions, particularly Bank of America, is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and support Appian UI solutions within an agile team environment
- Collaborate closely with analysts and the business line to gather and understand requirements
- Break down requirements into manageable work units to deliver Appian solutions effectively
- Utilize hands-on development skills in Appian BPM applications
- Code, configure, debug, and document enhancements to applications
- Support the creation of user guides for new projects and system enhancements
- Analyze and revise existing application logic and update documentation as needed
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and privacy in all application work
- Adhere to organizational policies and best practices supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Assist in managing risks associated with development and deployment processes
- Communicate progress and challenges to various stakeholders throughout project life cycles
Description
We are looking for an Appian Developer to join our team in Charlotte, NC, with a flexible work arrangement of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. This is a 12-month contract role with high potential for extension. Our ideal candidate will work collaboratively in an agile environment, focusing on software development, integration, and customization. We value hands-on experience with Appian development, and candidates with financial sector experience will be given preference.
