Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an information technology discipline emphasizing database or data analytics
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in working with ERP databases, specifically in the ventilation product or manufacturing sector
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and capacity planning
- Strong skills in system requirements gathering and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Jet Report and similar analytical tools
- Excellent knowledge of core databases, business processes, and industry best practices
- Skilled in utilizing various technologies and tools, including Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Access, Python, R, SPSS, Java, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI
- Experience in providing user support for Dynamic NAV/Business Central
- Ability to develop and conduct training for users on database applications
Responsibilities
- Maintain, extract, and analyze information from ERP system databases to fulfill reporting needs
- Collaborate with all departments to gather requirements for customers and internal analyses
- Utilize Jet Report to query various data from the ERP database
- Generate reports using Business Intelligence Reporting Software such as Power BI and Tableau
- Create and update data models that describe data elements and their utilization
- Test applications and changes in database systems; address errors and implement modifications
- Troubleshoot data issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Schedule and oversee the installation and testing of new applications and system enhancements
- Develop and implement security procedures to protect database information from unauthorized access or damage
- Establish standards and guidelines for software acquisition and usage to ensure data integrity
- Deliver technical assistance to internal users of the ERP system databases
- Specify user access levels and train users on database applications
- Generate training materials and address user inquiries regarding database-related issues
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices relevant to database technologies
Description
We are a company headquartered in Alameda, California, offering a flexible work environment that allows telecommuting up to four days per week. Our compensation package includes an annual salary range of $102,211 to $110,000, along with benefits such as comprehensive insurance (medical, vision, dental), a 401k with a generous employer match, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition assistance, and eligibility for an incentive bonus plan after three months of employment.
