Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in a Software Development role
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or a related technical field
- Advanced proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, database design principles, SQL query authoring, and performance optimization
- Proven ability to manipulate, process, and derive insights from large, disparate datasets
- Practical programming experience with Python, Java, or C#
- Familiarity with a visualization/reporting tool
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective project management and organizational abilities
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with relational database systems such as Sybase, SQL Server, Postgres, etc.
- Proficient in object-oriented or functional programming languages, including Python (NumPy, Pandas), Java, C++, or Scala
- Knowledge of visualization tools, such as Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, including Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, etc. is a plus
- Experience with data-science tools/workbenches like Dataiku, Jupyter, Rapid Miner, etc. is a plus
- Knowledge of Big Data tools/technologies, like Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Hue, PySpark, etc. is a plus
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Informatica, etc. is a plus
- Understanding of machine learning/artificial intelligence techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, time series, text mining, and large language models is a plus
Responsibilities
- Partner with technology and business users to establish key performance indicators and create analytical dashboards for delivering actionable insights to clients
- Construct and enhance data pipelines to collect data from various sources, transform it, and disseminate it to multiple stakeholders
- Utilize diverse data sources (both structured and unstructured) to develop optimized data cubes for analytical dashboards and downstream systems
- Identify, design, and implement enhancements and automations to improve data processing, storage, and availability while ensuring scalability
- Create and maintain analytics tools that leverage the data pipeline for providing insights into data trends and vital business metrics
- Develop and manage analytics and machine learning initiatives
- Facilitate the migration of the data platform from on-premises to cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Technology and Client teams, on data and analytics-related projects and challenges
