Requirements
Must:
- Cisco Router and switch configuration (IOS/NX-OS)
- Experience with Palo Alto NextGen Firewall and VPN configurations
- Familiarity with General Dynamics Taclanes and/or GEMOne
- Knowledge of F5 Load Balancer and GTM/Big DNS
- Proficiency in Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
- Experience in network security, traffic analysis, incident response, and vulnerability analysis
- Strong understanding of layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing protocols, including encryption and communication protocols such as TLS/SSL, IPsec, SSH, BGP, VLAN, and more
- Skills in Network Design and Implementation
- Capable of Network Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN and WAN infrastructures, including routers and security devices
- Apply security patches promptly across all network devices
- Monitor and analyze network performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Keep an accurate inventory of network assets, ensuring efficient tracking and lifecycle management
- Provide technical recommendations and support during project planning meetings
- Manage data center network infrastructure and collaborate on system improvements
- Troubleshoot network outages and schedule necessary optimizations
- Utilize expertise in routing, switching, and firewall configurations for secure LAN/WAN environments
- Support Linux/Unix and Windows systems for seamless network service integration
- Create detailed reports on network performance, incidents, and upgrades
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries regarding software and hardware troubleshooting
- Lead or support network projects, ensuring effective planning and coordination
- Implement security protocols to safeguard network systems against threats
- Collaborate on backup and disaster recovery strategies for network resilience
