Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Solution Consultant or Architect in SAP transformation initiatives, particularly in the Plan to Produce (P2X) sector.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA technologies, encompassing cloud integration and third-party system connectivity.
- Solid grasp of global template processes within the P2X and affiliated areas.
- Extensive process expertise in SAP PP and QM, with hands-on customization experience in SAP PP and preferably SAP QM.
- Relevant SAP certifications or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Competence in reading and assessing ABAP source code; ABAP development capabilities for bug fixes and minor enhancements are advantageous.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, capable of managing intricate system and business scenarios.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to connect with both technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to ZEISS’s worldwide transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA using a greenfield implementation strategy.
- Act as an expert and subproject leader within larger IT undertakings, focusing on Plan to Produce (P2X) processes.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business units, assisting SAP key users across departments and coordinating with external IT partners as necessary.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support by identifying and implementing effective workarounds and enduring solutions to persistent system challenges.
- Conduct root cause analysis, develop, test, and deploy bug fixes and enhancements.
- Maintain thorough documentation, including solution details, training resources, and user manuals.
