Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field is necessary.
- At least six (6) years of experience in systems administration is essential.
- Relevant experience may be accepted in place of minimum educational qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Design solutions for infrastructure projects and lead system initiatives.
- Direct project teams to implement technology architecture components and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and identify viable solutions while conducting research to deliver informed recommendations.
- Participate in justifying purchases and analyzing project benefits, including examining current support contracts for cost savings.
- Execute tasks related to incident, problem, and change management.
- Oversee troubleshooting efforts related to infrastructure systems, collaborating with third-party vendors and team members.
- Lead the establishment and maintenance of documented policies, procedures, and processes like operational run books and architectural diagrams.
- Provide support to key enterprise clients and emergencies on a rotational on-call basis.
- Write and compile scripts and code (PowerShell and/or Python) to enhance regular operations, while maintaining recommended system security patch levels.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to ensure smooth departmental operations.
