Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in Crime and Intelligence or a related field is essential; an advanced certification in Intelligence Analysis or a similar discipline may be considered.
- At least five (5) years of recent experience in military, public, or private sector security or an intelligence-related position is mandatory.
- Relevant experience may be accepted in place of the specified educational qualifications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of the security industry and established relationships with various security professionals is highly preferred.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all legal and regulatory standards is critical.
- Competence in understanding, applying, and ensuring compliance with established professional standards, directives, procedures, and applicable regulations is necessary.
- Experience in corporate risk intelligence is advantageous.
- Proven ability to conduct security threat analysis, assessments, and mitigation is required, drawing from public sector, law enforcement, or corporate security experience.
- Previous experience in drafting policies and procedures for an organization is preferred.
- Familiarity with the security industry and connections with various security professionals is highly favored.
Responsibilities
- Conduct threat assessments, generate reports, and deliver actionable intelligence to Tribal community and enterprise leaders.
- Represent our department publicly and act as a liaison to internal clients, vendors, and visitors.
- Produce well-crafted tactical and strategic analytical reports, provide peer reviews to intelligence analysts for their professional growth, and present findings to Tribal and security-related decision-makers when required.
- Oversee threat monitoring, research, complex analysis, and data gathering from various tools and resources.
- Provide training to team members and contribute to the creation or refinement of department standard operating procedures to document analytical protocols and best practices.
- Manage and assess the workload of analytical staff and support initiatives to promote the Intelligence Divisions mission, prioritizing organizational skills such as time management, goal setting, and attention to detail.
- Participate in law enforcement and private sector committees and working groups focusing on terrorism liaison, physical security, asset protection, workplace violence prevention, and current crime trends.
- Develop and implement models to identify existing and emerging security risks, and establish metrics that guide risk mitigation strategies.
- Perform any additional duties as required to ensure the efficient functioning of our department.
