Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Associates Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in tour and stage production is required.
- Strong understanding of technical live entertainment practices, particularly in sound, video, lighting, and rigging, is highly desirable.
- Experience with stage lighting, professional audio systems, and basic video systems is necessary.
- Previous experience operating forklifts is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale tour productions effectively.
- Must handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications is required.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in all aspects of production events, including but not limited to load in, set up, performance, strike, and load out, as well as other tasks as assigned by the event.
- Provide assistance with audio, lighting, and video as directed by supervisors, and maintain and repair sound, lighting, and stage equipment as needed.
- Safeguard and maintain house backline and supplies, as well as curtains, drapes, risers, and other staging items.
- Operate heavy machinery, if certified, including forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts utilized in live entertainment.
- Set up and dismantle flooring, portable chairs, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings and equipment.
- Maintain stage areas in a safe and tidy manner, ensuring trash is removed and the stage is prepared for the next show when possible.
- Execute additional tasks to ensure the efficient running of the department as assigned.
