Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in Intelligence or a related field is mandatory; an advanced certificate in Intelligence Analysis or a similar discipline may be acceptable. - A minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in security or intelligence roles within military, public, or private sectors is essential. - Relevant experience may be taken into account in lieu of the specified educational qualifications. - Previous corporate risk intelligence experience is preferred. - Demonstrable experience in conducting security threat analysis and assessments is required; this can come from public sector, law enforcement, or corporate security roles. - Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required; bilingual abilities are an advantage. - Experience drafting policies and procedures for a similarly sized organization is preferable. - Knowledge of the security industry and established relationships with various security professionals is highly sought after. - At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, obtaining and maintaining a gaming license may be required.

Responsibilities

- Analyze threats and prepare assessments for the Tribal Community and the Enterprise while coordinating with Tribal and Casino leaders, as well as law enforcement as necessary. - Monitor security risks and threats, researching and gathering data from multiple sources while effectively utilizing platform tools for analysis. - Create well-structured strategic analytical reports and present findings to Casino and Tribal leaders. - Participate in committees and develop partnerships with law enforcement/private sector entities focusing on terrorism liaison, physical security, asset protection, and workplace violence prevention. - Support and develop models to identify both existing and emerging security risks; define metrics that inform risk mitigation strategies. - Assist team members in significant incidents and complex situations as needed, maintaining on-call status and responding as requested. - Provide information on policies, procedures, and regulations affecting the visiting public, ensuring good public relations with internal customers and vendors through effective communication skills. - Ensure compliance with established professional standards, directives, approved procedures, applicable federal, state regulations, tribal ordinances, and all Indian gaming regulations. - Perform additional duties as assigned to contribute to the departments efficient operation.
