Requirements

Must:
- Associates degree required - Minimum of four (4) years experience in audio-visual roles, specifically with speakers, amplifiers, and LCD/Plasma displays - Relevant experience may substitute for education requirements - Familiarity with digital signage software such as LUCI, Industry Weapon, Crestron, Orange Door, Resolume, and SpinetiX preferred - Extensive knowledge of audio, visual, lighting, and digital equipment - Advanced technical skills in audio-visual technology, computers, and networking - Strong understanding of network hardware and software - Passion for organized sports and events - Ability to schedule programming in coordination with the VIBE Manager and committee - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences - Capability to foster professional relationships with internal and external clients - Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook essential - Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Crestron, QSC equipment, amplifiers, receivers, and A/V processors

Responsibilities

- Plan and manage the schedule for music systems and customize digital programming along with audio playlists - Support A/V streaming platforms to ensure accurate content distribution - Set up, test, and operate various A/V equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and video monitors - Conduct maintenance and repairs on all equipment and expedite service needs as necessary - Transport, set up, dismantle, and operate A/V equipment for on-site and off-site events - Monitor and maintain inventory of A/V equipment using a centralized management database - Document troubleshooting processes and resolutions to improve efficiency - Perform additional tasks as required to ensure smooth departmental operations
