Requirements
Must:
To be eligible for Year Up United, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Be between 18-29 years old
- Be a high school graduate or GED recipient
- Be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Be available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
- Be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
- Not have obtained a Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
As a participant in Year Up United, you will engage in a year-long intensive job training program that includes:
- In-classroom skill development
- Access to internships and job placement services
- Personalized coaching and mentorship
- Gaining professional business and communication skills
- Developing interviewing and networking skills
- Building your resume
Throughout the internship phase, you will earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.

We combine technical and professional training with access to internships and job placement support through our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement. Internship opportunities may be available at renowned organizations such as Bank of America, Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, and Salesforce, among others in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In-depth classes include topics such as Application Development & Support, Business Fundamentals, Banking & Customer Success, and Helpdesk/Desktop Support. We are committed to equipping you with the skills and opportunities needed to launch your professional career. In fact, 80% of Year Up United graduates find employment or enroll in postsecondary education within four months of graduating, with employed graduates earning an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
