Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is essential.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in packaging machinery or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D parametric modeling software.
- Strong personal interaction and communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with capability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
- Experience with ERP systems is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Willingness to travel 10% to 20% for domestic and international projects.
- A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record are necessary.
- A valid passport is required for international travel.
Responsibilities
- Create layout proposals for customer equipment.
- Develop specific systems stack-ups and floor plans based on customer needs.
- Design components according to unique equipment specifications.
- Assist with product demonstrations when necessary.
- Collaborate with the applications and sales teams to devise solutions for customized projects.
- Review customer orders against supplier confirmations to ensure accuracy.
- Enter project equipment information into the company ERP system.
- Produce final layout documents for customer equipment and verify their accuracy.
- Travel as required, approximately 10% to 20%, based on customer requirements and project needs.
