Membership Service Rep

- Create a friendly atmosphere by greeting all members and guests warmly - Deliver exceptional customer service to all members, visitors, and program participants - Accurately process all membership and program enrollments, ensuring current member information - Manage program registrations, payments, and membership sign-ups - Address inquiries by providing comprehensive and precise information via phone or in-person - Verify membership status by scanning cards upon entry and ensuring the photo matches the individual - Support Membership Team sales goals by conducting interviews and giving informative tours for prospective members - Promptly and courteously attend to all member concerns, feedback, and questions - Promote and discuss various YMCA programs that align with members needs - Engage members in conversations about their participation in YMCA Programs and special events - Provide alternatives when members inquire about cancellations, following appropriate procedures - Adhere to and enforce all policies regarding conduct, dress code, and membership issues - Follow cash handling protocols during payment processing and end-of-day reconciliation - Participate in mandatory staff meetings and training sessions - Uphold YMCA policies related to safety and risk management - Exemplify the Six Pillars of Character and YMCA Core Values in all interactions - Demonstrate commitment to personal growth and development in leadership competencies - Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
