Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional involvement with Java applications using frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot
- Basic knowledge of frontend technologies, especially Angular (or similar frameworks)
- Experience in Agile environments with tools like Jira
- Proficient in developing database applications with Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Experience creating automated unit tests using JUnit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and enhance abilities continuously
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud services such as AWS or Azure
- Proficient in version control systems like Git
Responsibilities
- Support and assist in the development of Java backend applications leveraging frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot
- Engage in frontend development activities, preferably with Angular; knowledge of other frontend technologies is advantageous
- Collaborate effectively within Agile teams to produce high-quality software solutions
- Assist in writing and maintaining automated unit tests utilizing tools like JUnit
- Manage data using relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning sessions, and daily stand-up meetings
- Document technical specifications and facilitate clear communication with team members and stakeholders
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by the supervisor
