Requirements
Must:
- Ability to work full-time on-site at our Houston, TX location.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with the PHP Laravel framework (not just college experience).
- Preferred experience of at least 1 year with ReactJS.
- Preferred experience of at least 1 year in database development.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key player in resolving critical bugs promptly, such as duplicate data issues, malfunctioning modals affecting essential functionalities, and performance delays with diagrams and tables.
- Address performance challenges by optimizing backend operations in Laravel and enhancing frontend navigation and rendering in ReactJS.
- Enhance stability and ensure future-proof implementation through thoughtful refactoring.
- Keep our technology stack updated with the latest versions.
- Resolve smaller bugs logged in Jira to improve the overall user experience.
- Collaborate on the development of new features and system integrations, including generative AI development, revamping dashboard synchronization, integrating Stripe payment features, achieving certifications with platforms like Xero, and implementing AI-powered auto-coding for QuickBooks Online.
- Maintain transparency in Jira by updating tickets, providing clear estimates, and adhering to Agile sprints.
- Participate in daily standups, code reviews, and release cycles within a team that prioritizes quality and innovation.
