Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar position, emphasizing data analysis and process enhancement.
- Hands-on familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent visualization tools for developing interactive dashboards.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes related to software development initiatives.
- Proficient in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle) for database querying and management; database design experience is a plus.
- Programming abilities in R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell) are highly desirable for advanced data analysis tasks.
- Experience utilizing analytics tools like Visio for process modeling.
- Expertise in business analysis best practices combined with strong analytical skills to effectively interpret complex datasets.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business needs by conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data assessments.
- Develop detailed reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and similar visualization platforms to effectively present insights.
- Assist in project management duties within Agile frameworks to ensure timely achievement of solutions that align with business objectives.
- Design and enhance databases utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other database systems; engage in database design and data modeling.
- Perform thorough data analysis using SQL, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and analytical methods to identify trends and facilitate decision-making.
- Collaborate with technical teams during SDLC phases to guarantee correct implementation of solutions.
- Create process models and diagrams using Visio to depict workflows and system interactions clearly.
- Aid in formulating business cases and conducting feasibility assessments for new projects.
- Ensure that solutions align with best practices in project management, system development lifecycle (SDLC), and quality standards.
