Requirements
Must:
- STEM-related Associates degree is preferred
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in data engineering or architecture is necessary
- Familiarity with data systems, infrastructures, pipelines, and datasets is crucial
- Proficient in relational databases and SQL
- Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes into relational databases is required
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure technologies
- 0-2 years of experience with Python is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with GitHub is advantageous
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential
- Capability to exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and recommend solutions for challenges is necessary
- Willingness to work extended and irregular hours as needed to address technical issues
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and upkeep of data pipelines and database systems
- Ensure data quality and facilitate integration across both internal and external systems while maintaining metadata and data dictionaries
- Create and revise technical documentation to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members
- Aid in the generation of reports and visualizations based on defined reporting criteria
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
