Requirements
Must:
- 1-3 years of experience in software engineering, ideally with Python
- Proficient SQL skills and familiarity with database management
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (coding bootcamp + non-CS degree permissible)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Capability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working independently while ensuring relevant parties are kept informed
Nice to have:
- Experience with AWS tools (Redshift, S3, EC2, Lambda)
- Understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience using Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Ruby or Ruby on Rails
Responsibilities
- Construct and implement custom integrations designed to meet client requirements, from initial scoping to final production
- Manage data migrations to guarantee secure and precise transition of legacy data into the Workable platform
- Generate SQL-based custom reports and data visualizations
- Configure intricate, tailored feature sets within client accounts to satisfy specific business logic needs
- Build and oversee internal tools, including requirement gathering, technical design documentation, and ongoing maintenance
Collaboration with Implementation Managers:
- Work alongside Implementation Managers to outline technical milestones within the broader project framework and provide exact delivery timelines
- Identify potential technical challenges early in the project cycle and offer constructive solutions
- Assist Implementation Managers during technical discussions with clients, translating complicated technical processes into understandable business outcomes
- Thoroughly document all custom configurations so Implementation Managers can assist clients after delivery
Cross-Team Support:
- Partner with Tech Leads to test, document, and deploy custom solutions adhering to internal standards
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Sales and Implementation teams
- Provide API guidance and high-level technical assistance for non-technical staff members
