Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, and Looker for creating engaging visual representations
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes from requirements gathering to deployment
- Advanced SQL capabilities and experience in database design for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar systems
- Expertise in data analysis utilizing R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), specifically focusing on ETL workflows
- Familiarity with Business Analysis techniques, including process mapping and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of analytics tools such as Talend for data integration tasks
- Ability to work with Linked Data principles for interconnected data environments
- Exceptional analytical skills to convert complex datasets into actionable insights
Responsibilities
- Collect and evaluate business requirements to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement and automation
- Create, develop, and manage dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to illustrate key performance metrics
- Collaborate with technical teams to establish ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that ensure data accuracy and integrity across platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Talend
- Assist with project management tasks within Agile frameworks, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and communication with stakeholders
- Perform thorough data analysis using SQL, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and additional analytical tools to reveal trends and insights
- Support database layout and optimization efforts for efficient data retention and access
- Document business workflows via Visio or comparable tools while upholding clear records of SDLC activities
- Participate in Linked Data projects to improve data connectivity across systems for enhanced insights
- Present findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through comprehensive reports and presentations
