Requirements
Must:
- 5 years of experience with Linux (Required)
- 3 years of experience with Python (Required)
- 3 years of experience with Django (Required)
- Familiarity with non-volatile hardware such as SATA, SAS, NVME, eMMC
- Experience with Embedded Linux
- Self-driven and capable of working independently
- Ability to collaborate with clients for feedback and issue identification
- Proficient in using the Linux shell, SSH, and standard Linux utilities
- Experience with tools like sg3_utils, hdparm, and nvme-cli is a plus
- Comprehensive knowledge of Postgresql and Linux
- Comfort with shell commands and utilities (ssh, bash, git, vim, rsync, dmesg, etc.)
- Yocto experience is desirable
- Capable of writing and reading technical documentation
- Familiarity with Git, Confluence, Jira, linters, and QA processes is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Engineer in designing the architecture of specific products/applications, incorporating principles that enhance availability, reusability, interoperability, and security
- Engage in development, optimization, and automation tasks to aid in the execution of products/applications
- Implement engineering best practices to create high-quality, scalable solutions
- Support the Lead Engineer in refining the overall build process
- Identify shortcomings in a product/applications codebase and recommend enhancements for better code quality
- Perform peer code reviews on software changes made by fellow engineers
- Ensure that solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, adaptable, and accessible while proactively addressing potential production support issues
- Participate actively in design discussions
