Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or information security with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Information Security Engineering
- Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with at least 8 years of relevant experience in Information Security Engineering
- Current DoD IAT II or IAM II certification
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
- Support A&A efforts to complete tasks that align cybersecurity standards and requirements with all phases of the system development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain A&A packages through all stages of the DoD RMF process
- Assist in A&A authorization decisions, including Authorization to Operate (ATO), Authorization to Connect (ATC), Interim Authorization to Test (IATT), Interim Authorization to Build (IATB), and Denial of Authorization to Operate/Connect (DATO/C)
- Conduct research and design for network architecture
- Generate reports on network device configurations and analyze network performance after changes are implemented
- Plan and set up demonstrations of network defense-in-depth solutions, including sensor optimization
- Provide network engineering services to test various network architectures
- Support network installations, including site surveys, database management, mobile device management (MDM), and virtual private cloud (VPC) architecture development and integration
- Analyze requirements and capability documentation to identify operational deficiencies and propose innovative solutions
- Act as a coordinator to support leadership interactions with government organizations, including serving as a point of contact for cybersecurity-related inquiries
- Assist the DAT in conducting Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercises (CSTE) and help in identifying risks through various vulnerability assessments
