Must:

- We consider Unix/Linux and Windows systems administration experience an asset.
- We value familiarity with FTTH, DSL, and Adtran hardware.
- We prefer knowledge of Metaswitch or similar voice switching platforms.
- We consider experience with LTE, HSPA, and related cellular technologies an advantage.
- We value experience using SNMP and network monitoring tools.
- We consider hands-on experience with -48VDC telecom power systems a plus.
Responsibilities
- We adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- We support departmental and corporate performance targets.
- We work collaboratively to handle daily operational priorities.
- We respond to network alarms and incidents, troubleshoot issues, and resolve them promptly to meet service objectives.
- We perform audits and monitoring to assess network capacity and service performance.
- We install, configure, and test networking hardware to our internal standards.
- We carry out scheduled maintenance and follow change management processes.
- We participate in after-hours maintenance windows and a rotating on-call schedule.
- We test and validate new products against our corporate requirements.
- We maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams.
- We administer and support our corporate network environment, including workstations and peripherals.
- We support Tier 3 IT tickets and, when needed, lead IT operational work such as preparing, installing, and upgrading laptops and PCs for our staff.
- We operate company vehicles safely in accordance with our policy.
- We may complete additional duties as business needs evolve.
- We may travel within our service area and occasionally beyond it for training or support.
Description
We are hiring a full-time, permanent Network Analyst for our Network Operations team. This is an in-office role based in one of our Wightman locations, with Hanover, Fergus, or Stratford available, and Hanover preferred. You will report to the Manager, Network Operations and play an essential part in maintaining and expanding our network infrastructure while supporting day-to-day operations and Tier 3 technical issues. The role includes occasional travel, limited field work, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation. We offer an hourly pay range of $37.30 to $41.91, and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
