Senior Network Engineer

- Design, build, configure, and maintain both classified and unclassified Department of Defense network environments. - Carry out network assessments, audits, and technical reviews in support of Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA) and other inspection or readiness initiatives. - Validate and remediate network device configurations to ensure adherence to DISA STIGs, C2C standards, and customer security requirements. - Set up, troubleshoot, and oversee Cisco routing and switching infrastructure across various customer sites. - Administer Cisco ISE, focusing on authentication, authorization, network access control, TACACS+, RADIUS, and related policy enforcement tasks. - Configure, evaluate, and debug Palo Alto firewall policies, zones, NAT rules, access controls, and security setups. - Detect network vulnerabilities, configuration shortfalls, documentation gaps, and operational risks; suggest and implement corrective measures. - Evaluate network infrastructure and devices against DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and assist with NIST SP 800-53 security control assessments. - Produce and maintain thorough network documentation, covering diagrams, IP address plans, port maps, device inventories, rack layouts, configuration baselines, and site-specific procedures. - Collaborate directly with government clients, cybersecurity teams, system administrators, and other technical stakeholders to resolve network and compliance challenges. - Facilitate change management, configuration management, vulnerability remediation, and technical reporting about network infrastructure.
