Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a preference for 3 years in e-commerce, logistics, or integration-focused systems
- Extensive experience in building and maintaining web applications using modern backend frameworks (e.g., .NET / ASP.NET, Node.js, Java, etc.), with a strong preference for .NET/ASP.NET due to our current technology stack
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and data synchronization patterns, including authentication, pagination, throttling, and error management
- Practical experience integrating with third-party platforms (marketplaces, ERPs, or similar), particularly Amazon, Walmart, or eBay APIs/SP-API
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases for querying, reporting, and troubleshooting data concerns
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including the ability to debug and make minor UI adjustments to existing sites
- Experience with Git and collaborative development processes (pull requests, code review)
- Ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Support integrations with platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, eBay, and other third-party systems
- Maintain and enhance our custom e-commerce and back-office platform, including storefronts and internal management tools
- Design and implement robust data flows and background jobs to ensure orders, inventory, and tracking remain synchronized and avoid overselling
- Create tools and dashboards to monitor integration performance, error rates, and data quality, proactively addressing issues
- Refactor and modernize legacy code while ensuring business continuity
- Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and customer service teams to identify challenges and discover automation possibilities
- Document integration logic, data mappings, and operational procedures to enhance supportability and knowledge sharing
- Engage in planning and prioritization activities; contribute to defining the technical roadmap and establishing best practices for our engineering team
