Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in designing, deploying, maintaining, and managing AWS Cloud infrastructures.
- Experience in writing infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation and the AWS API within an agile-development context.
- Strong grasp of scalability, high availability, and redundancy principles.
- Familiarity with modern software paradigms, including cloud applications and serverless architectures.
- Skilled in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, Chef, Puppet, Salt, and OpsWorks for AWS.
- Proficient with DevOps tools like Ansible, Docker, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Strong Linux capabilities, covering networking, limits, security, and scripting.
- Programming experience in modern programming languages.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, manage, and operate the infrastructure and configuration of SaaS applications, emphasizing automation and infrastructure as code.
- Construct, manage, and supervise the infrastructure as a service (IaaS) layer that caters to various platform services on hosted and cloud-based platforms.
- Create thorough monitoring solutions to ensure complete visibility into various platform components, utilizing tools and services like Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, and New Relic.
- Detect and resolve bottlenecks, availability, and performance challenges across multiple deployment layers, including hardware, operating environment, software, network, and application.
- Analyze performance trends and anticipated changes in demand and capacity, establishing suitable scalability plans.
- Assist with cloud development pipelines using Jenkins, CloudFormation, Puppet, and relevant tools.
- Support containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, alongside other virtualization approaches such as LXC.
