Requirements
Must:
- I have at least 2 years of experience in information technology with an AS in computer science or a similar degree, or 4 years in an IT or helpdesk technical support role.
- I possess an A+ certification or a related qualification (preferred).
- I am proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- I have knowledge of configuring and managing mobile devices (iOS/Android).
- I am familiar with Mobile Device Management systems, such as AirWatch, SimpleMDM, or Intune.
- I have experience with ticketing systems and incident tracking.
- I have a basic understanding of asset management and inventory control.
- I possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- I am capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- I am committed to delivering high-quality customer support.
- I am detail-oriented with robust documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- I can effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- I am available for after-hours emergency call-outs as needed.
- I hold a valid WA driver’s license and have an insurable driving record.
- I consent to pre-employment and ongoing drug screenings.
- I will pass a background check.
- I am eligible to work in the USA.
- I can travel across the US and Canada border.
Responsibilities
- I will serve as the first point of contact for employee technical support, responding to IT helpdesk tickets, emails, and calls from employees seeking assistance.
- I will troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- I will provide prompt and effective solutions to technical problems while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- I will escalate complex issues to the relevant IT teams or vendors as needed.
- I will document and track all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system and regularly triage incidents.
- I will participate in after-hours emergency call-outs as necessary.
- I will coordinate the issuance and retrieval of cell phones according to company policies and maintain an accurate inventory of cell phones and related equipment.
- I will configure and set up cell phones with the required applications, security settings, and email accounts.
- I will monitor cellular plans for cost-efficiency and collaborate with procurement for ordering new devices.
- I will assist employees with technology setup and troubleshooting inquiries, providing guidance on best practices for device security and data management.
- I will develop and update user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles about cell phone usage and IT procedures and conduct training to improve understanding of cell phone features and processes.
- I will track technology asset assignments and manage the lifecycle of those assets while collaborating with other IT teams to address cross-functional technical issues.
- I will assist in implementing IT projects and initiatives.
